Stayed here overnight along the Great Victorian Rail Trail and it was lovely. The place is closed on Mondays so I received a text with all check in information etc which was easy to follow. Room was lovely, shower pressure amazing. It would be nice to have sugar for the coffee, but that's a minor issue. Takeaways a few minutes walk for dinner and overall glad I stayed here.

What a hidden gem - lovely clean large rooms, in a lovely location. With great food and even better service in the pub downstairs. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

The Peppercorn hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. We were staying over on a cycling trip. Dinner was really pleasant, good food and wonderful service.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff and our room was comfortable clean and welcoming. On arrival we were welcomed with a warm smile from staff and even though the hotel was busy a staff member who was off duty escorted us to our room and booked us in for dinner. Highly recommend this hotel stay 5 stars

The gentleman who showed us to our room was lovely and friendly . It’s a beautiful old heritage building and we were lovely comfy and felt safe . Sure it could do with some attention but “ hey “ don’t we all need that at our own homes . Over all a very pleasant stay and we will return as soon as we can . Thankyou 🙂

Go with an open mind and enjoy, the building is a wonderful old pub full of interest for the visitor. The restaurant downstairs is great, right in the old pub, we were there on Curry night, very good! Continental breakfast is set up in a common area upstairs - take what you want back to your room. Room facilities and condition are very ordinary but we enjoyed our stay.

My sisters and I stayed in the off site unit as we wanted accomodation we could all share but with enough beds for the 3 of us. The unit was very comfortable with everything we needed for a single nights stay. My only suggestion would be to provide instructions for the dvd player as we couldnt get it to work and I'm not sure if there was a wifi password also available ? Otherwise a great stay thanks.

Quirky and cute. Old heritage building with upstairs rooms so getting up creaky stairs was fun! Great staff. Restaurant on site with great meals at good prices. Room was very comfortable. A great stay
