The hotel and staff was very sweet and helpful but I did specifically book the Torre Dorada because I was under the impression we could be picked up for our tours, hosted by Lima Tours, but I was informed then evening before by a guide we had to meet them in the main square. "Location is a bit far from Plaza de Armas, where all the restaurants and action is. You could take Uber which would be very cheap and worth the savings for the hotel. Breakfast is included and wifi was great. They had a water station as well. Front desk staff was not in the best of moods, probably one of the colder exchanges I've had in all of Peru, but bang for buck this place is not bad. Just not close to anything"
