The United Arab Emirates has some of the best waterparks in the world and the award-winning Yas Waterworld is no exception. The modern theme park was opened on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island in 2013. It features 43 exhilarating attractions spread across 15 hectares (37 acres).

Splash out on the luxurious facilities and hire a poolside cabana, which can host up to six people at a time. Cabanas feature fans and lounges as well as food service. Relax by the pool with your lunch and a drink while trained staff tend to your every need.
The Marah Fortress located near the cabanas is designed specifically for children, with playground facilities and six different slides.
Thrill-seekers should make a beeline for the Jebel Drop. The highest vantage point in the park offers great views from the top. You won’t have long to look before dropping toward the pool at fast speeds. Test your courage on the Liwa Loop, a fast looping waterslide. Get airborne on the three peaks of the Hamlool’s Humps ride, a long and fast slide.
Yas Waterpark lies in the centre of Yas Island. It’s accessible from central Abu Dhabi by bus or car. Drivers can pay to use the valet parking service.
The park is open every day. Tickets can be bought from the entrance at arrival. Buy them online in advance to avoid waiting in lines.
