"Just opened so everything is new. The room was nice and big with a comfortable bed. The laundry facilities were convenient and efficient, the only drawback is the price, $5 for each wash and dry. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Very clean and updated hotel. We had a beautiful view of the bay on the 9th floor. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Richard, specifically, gave us all of our details and answered questions about the area. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and haphazard on the first day. The staff seemed blindsided by a large local event. We had the package with the buffet so that was a bummer. This hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to Becky's Diner, Victoria Mansion, even the Art Museum. We actually walked all the way down to Lukes Lobster at the pier. They also offer shuttle service around town so you can get dropped off and picked up wherever you need. May have to wait 15 minutes. Overall, this was an excellent experience!"

"We had a good stay just a few items for future guests might be good to mention. 1) We found that our room had a very odd smell in it. Hard to describe but they may want to look into different cleaning solutions, air freshener or something. 2) The drain in the bathroom sink drained very slowly. It might need a good dose of drain cleaner. 3) For coffee in the room they did not have any decaf options or tea options. 4) The coffee in the breakfast area was awful. And there was never any decaf in the decaf coffee pump. You might want to consider a different source for the coffee and make up some decaf. And maybe some different flavor creamer options. 5) Breakfast seemed pretty good, maybe add some hash browns to the selection. Very impressed you had two waffle makers, fruit was always fresh. You all kept the selections replenish in a timely matter."

"The woman at the front desk was wonderful. When i got to my room i realized the door lock was broken. The man who came to look argued with me about it, saying it was "safe enough""

"We stayed here for our first trip to Portland in May 2026. This hotel was super clean rooms and bed were comfortable. Modern feel. Cafe breakfast was good and their drinks are great. Try the strawberry matcha! "

"Food was great at the Armory. Staff was helpful & we enjoyed morning coffee in the lounge by the fire. Hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, waterfront & attractions!"
