"Very welcoming for pets! Beautiful views right on the beach. Could hear the surf and frogs at night which was lovely! Some issues with staffing front desk and housekeeping but this seems to the norm these days. Restaurant was ok. Like that they make espresso drinks on site! "

"This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further! This place has comfy beds, and functional kitchenette making it feel more like a rental house than a motel.The kids love the indoor pool and the adults look forward to a nice long hot tub soak after a blustery day on the beach (we go in December). The lobby has ganes and videos you can borrow. Breakfast id included, which is appreciated. Pretty basic, no waffle maker but descent pre-packaged food and a couple different cereals to choose from. Definitely recommend, and will absolutely stay again. "

"This is an older resort with remodeled (most parts anyway) rooms. The ocean view room was great and a unique stay. We loved the ocean-front dining as well. "

"First time to Yachats, the cottage was just what we needed! Close enough to town, we walked to breakfast every morning. One day, we did the Amanda trail and we were able to walk directly from the cottage. Upon return, the hot tub was just what we required after a long day of hiking. Having a fire place made our late winter stay just perfect. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We look forward to renting this place again. Thank you! "
