If you don't know Chinese, don't stay here. Although staff makes extra effort they cannot communicate. Even small things are an impossibility here.

Staff was very friendly. We arrived late at night, and it was an easy, short walk from the airport. Carson, the night clerk, was very friendly. Our Tibet area permit had been mailed to the hotel, but was not readily found by staff. Carson continued to make calls and contacted our Tibet guide company in the middle of the night and stayed on it until our permit was found. We left early in the morning before the kitchen opened for our complimentary breakfast, but Carson found some things for us to eat. I look forward to staying here again. The room and hotel are beautiful!

Just fair
If you need a place close to the airport, that location is the strongest point. However, the staff barely speak English. The room was kind of old and the AC was not working properly. The breakfast is fair, but not quite suitable for westerners.

The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel provides transportation to the airport. However, the room I stayed was very old and not clean. There were multiple stains on the carpet, which were too prominent to get overlooked.

Enjoyable stay at Fliport
We arrived early for our 1 day stay before check in time and was given an excellent room. The hotel provides free shuttle to some attraction which we managed to go for Zhongshan walking street. The breakfast was good too. Looking forward to stay here again on our next trip.

The location is good. Fairly easy to find, taxi knows the locations even if you don't speak Chinese. But the hotel itself was pretty disappointing. Our first room the air conditioning didn't work. The front desk and pretty much all the staff we encountered spoke no English. The other hotels we stayed at always had someone that spoke a little to assist. The wifi and Ethernet connection in the room was unusable, disconnected randomly.

We provide free shuttle service for our guests. We are deeply sorry for any problems you may have during your stay. In addition, the hotel qiyuan building has new facilities, comfortable rooms, heated swimming pool and a gym with various equipment.

Not good experience
Never got to stay there. Plane delayed, tried calling to change the time to following day but nobody at the hotel spoke English so I ate the cost. I understand that the region is primarily chinese but if you get tourists have someone that can understand enough to help.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. PICTURES OF ROOM FAKE
Do not believe the pictures. Extremely misleading. The hotel was very bad. Cleanliness was bad. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel reaked of vomit. Went to coffee house for dinner and although we ordered food, I think we were served with leftovers from their earlier buffet. My seafood udon which came with not fresh mussels and prawns and it came with only the mussels and prawns. So I ended up with just eating the noodles. The room was stale and had a smell. The room and bathroom was nothing like in the pictures. The service was bad. I booked a transport to take my family to the airport and specifically told them the numbers. But yet, they only said 1 slot was available. Has to make a ruckus before they relented to resolve it. Hotels.com, you should remove this hotel from your listing as this reflects poorly on you as the pictures of the rooms does not reflect the room condition. This is the first hotel which hotels.com got it wrong and I am a heavy hotels.com user. I will never stay in this hotel again.

Excellent layover accommodation Xiamen
Awesome accommodation.. when you can find it. Took 1 hour to locate hotel.. that’s a lot of time when you are walking around a foreign neighborhood at 1am after an international flight. Approximately 1600m from the airport terminal. Exit the airport south, head west, follow the street signs and street bordering west side of airport. Hotels.com needs to correct the map location of this airport. Please see photo. The hotel is immaculate with first class customer service and amenities. Highly recommend for a layover in Xiamen.

A hotel with a nice garden near the Airport
Fliport Garden Hotel has two buildings, a main building (Qi Yun Lou) and a rear building (Qi Yuan Lou), the latter has been renovated and charges a higher rate. The rates appeared in the Hotel. Com referred to the rates for the main building. We paid about 12% more for staying in the rear building. This hotel has a fantastic rear garden and is very pleasant to roam about. A pond and a bridge over it gives the garden a very traditional Chinese garden setup. The room was clean and spacious and it is worth the extra money. The breakfast, however, is ordinary. This hotel is ideal for a night's rest in transit when catching a flight out the next day.

2 seperate buildings connected by a garden, photos provided showcases expecation of the new building. Lobby is normal but the rooms are kinda rundown with paint works peeling and faded. Breakfast is decent. For swimming,swimming cap is required.

fine hotel very close to the airport, but nothing close by. We had great deal of trouble getting their airport shuttle to pick us up. We end up asking the airline help desk to call them demanding service.

Choose Their New Building
My flight was delayed and it was almost 2am when I arrived at Xiamen Airport, so I took a taxi instead of calling the hotel for a shuttle. The taxi driver was upset because this hotel was too close, he said he had waited there for 2 hours and wouldn't take me for such a trip. Eventually he agreed to drive me there after I agreed to pay him more (I paid 30 Yuan). He dropped me off at the hotel's New building (I stayed in their Old building of the same hotel a few days ago but didn't know there's a New building) and the front desk girl told me I need to add 50 Yuan on top of my booking price to stay in their new building, I didn't argue since it was really late and the old building was not that good anyway. To my surprise, the room condition in their new building is much better, very comfortable. I am glad that I paid that 50 Yuan. Next morning the shuttle was on time, so overall it was a good experience.

Very close to Xiamen Airport
This hotel has a lounge inside of the airport and it is pretty nice, the staff was helpful and the shuttle came pretty fast. The hotel lobby looks good but inside the room it seems like a motel in USA, later I found I this was their old building and their new building is much better. For some reason, I couldn't figure out the hotel WIFI, maybe my phone is not from China?

Nice Hotel 3 minutes from the airport
Although their english is minimal, the staff are smart, helpful, and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and maybe the bathroom is a bit outdated, but for the low cost it was a good bargain. The breakfast buffet was great and many aspects to it. The gym and pool are a little outside walk away, but both excellent. Even though it is so close to the airport there was no airport noise problem.

Nice hotel close to airport
The hotel has a lounge at the Xiamen Airport arrival exit to arrange airport pick-up to hotel. Its airport send-off is equally convenient. Though the hotel room is a bit old, but it's very clean and very well maintained. The breakfast is an excellent ending to my trip.

We arrived late, passed midnight and the girl in the counter was courteous and told us that our room was upgraded, it was such a nice surprise as we are very tired from our long flight. My 2 sisters check in early that day and told me, that she (my sister) told the reception that we are allergic to cigarette smell and that to make sure our room does not have cigarette smell, otherwise we will be complaining and that we will be arriving past midnight. It was nice to know that your front receptionist considered our health condition and upgraded us a nice non-smoking room. Thank you !

Hotel and hotel staff are excellent!
I stayed over one night at the Fliport Garden Hotel in Xiamen. All of the members of the staff I was in contact with were polite, knowledgeable and friendly, but not too friendly. My room was absolutely spotless. About six months earlier I stayed at different hotel in Xiamen and was so disappointed that I expected I might receive the same miserable service at the Fliport Garden Hotel. I won't mention the name of the lousy hotel I stayed in, rather I will say the Fliport is a hotel one can only rave about.
