"Room was clean, fireplace made for a great ambiance. Breakfast was good with lots of selections. Staff was helpful with directions and points of interest in Carmel. Will definitely stay again when in the area."
"To be fair I did look back at my four page email confirmation and did see I was informed there was no wi fi. Did not see that. We did not come to Big Sur to surf internet but no access to outside phone calls, weather and maps presented difficult planning logistics. "
"My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at Post Ranch Inn and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff goes above and beyond from the moment you arrive until you leave. The grounds are immaculately kept and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy while staying at the inn. The restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. I really cannot say enough about the service. We just hope that we can make or back again in the future."
"Clean room, good amount of space, nice bathroom, everything felt updated and new. The best part was the proximity to everything, would stay here again! "
"Hard to even state how horrible this stat was. I understand this is considered a historic hotel, but there were absolutely no amenities. No heat (radiators did not work), no elevators, no refrigerator (although a teeny tiny, old one was brought to the room on request. The staff was rude and disengaged. The room was crammed with old, dilapidated furniture such that one could barely use the closet. The room was so small, there was no place for your luggage.
But the worst part was the room was above the patio of the hotel’s event room. We checked in at 4 and it was so noisy that we immediately left the room. We came back at 9:30 pm pm and the drunken festivities were still raging and continued until after 11:00 pm.
Steer clear of this dump!!"
