"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed. Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry. Room was really homely and clean. Hotel has a car park onsite. I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"We had booked three rooms out for ourselves and other family members. The property is in a brilliant location. There is no onsite service parking but free parking outside the front of the property. The entry instructions given were clear. All of the rooms had everything that you need in there. They are not very big rooms but big enough if only used to sleep in which is what we used it for.
