"Just perfect accommodation for exploring West Wales, you're a two minute drive from an amazing beach, less than 15 minutes from both Pembroke and Tenby. The room was great, we had lovely views over the back garden and uninterupted views over the fields and hills, breakfasts set us up for the day, really lovely people runninng it, seriously don't bother looking elsewhere, you'll love this place. "Unfortunately I had an unpleasant stay at the Middlegate Hotel - I stayed for 2 nights in Sept. 2025. There was very loud music playing late into the night (until 11pm) on a weekday which made it impossible for me to sleep. A band playing very loud music right under my room. This is not acceptable and made my stay at the hotel a miserable and a very negative experience. And during the day there were strange people coming by my window and looking into and inspecting my room thereby violating my privacy. Again - this is unacceptable. Thirdly, the shower was out of order and of course no one was present at the reception. A functioning shower is essential as well as privacy and quiet night time."
