We made a late booking for a one-night stay and Carla was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and there's ample on-street free parking. Well located between Windermere and Bowness, and only a short walk to the lake. (Room 1 does not have a door separating the bedroom and bathroom, if that is an issue for you.)

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our time here. Room was on 3rd floor which was a struggle with big suitcases and stairs, but the room was nice and we could park the car no problem. Self check in was easy. You can’t eat in the room which was a bit weird, but we had nice Thai food down the road. We could make tea which was nice. You can log in to your own streaming services, but none are provided. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again 😊

The property is clean and comfortable. However there was no soap in the shower dispenser and not much milk for tea and coffee. Otherwise it is convenient and easy to park at property.

Property does not have a check in desk, so feels unattended. However, there are key safes and all doors in the house have a key lock. We had prior communication regarding the safe key and a lovely welcome message from the owner in the room. The property was clearly cleaned but there was a couple of stains on the bedding that you would only notice if you’re as pedantic as I am. There was Netflix on the tv and it was a big room and bathroom. It was nicely, freshly decorated. Take ear plugs - you can hear everything from the other rooms and people coming up the stairs at night. A budget-friendly stay for anyone wanting a stay in the Lakes.

Stay was nice and good touch on the TV channels very nice shower and very clean the reason I gave 3 stars on staff as it was a safe box for keys parking on the street but very quiet and plenty space a nice breakfast at the mission that is easily walking distance I would stay again a round nice stay

Great location

Cute guest house, few minutes walk to some great coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Would have loved to stay longer and explore and if I was to come back I'd book this place again. Great value for money, easy check in.
