The best time to go to Windellama is during spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) for pleasant weather and outdoor activities.

During these months, the weather is generally mild and comfortable, with less extreme heat or cold than the peak summer or winter months. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, such as the numerous walking trails and country drives.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find these seasons particularly appealing. The landscape is often at its most picturesque, with wildflowers blooming in spring and the foliage changing colour in autumn, providing excellent opportunities for scenic drives and photography. Many local vineyards also offer a more enjoyable experience during these moderate temperatures.

For those planning to visit the local markets or attend community events, spring and autumn often feature various outdoor gatherings.
