"Lovely bright room, spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The pub is very old and quirky with low doorways and sloping floors but that's it's charm. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good. Evening pub meals were tasty and very well priced. Overall a pleasant place to stay ..."

"Lovely cottage. Well appointed and comfortable.However stairs very steep and bed is a bit awkward to climb into, so not suitable for elderly people.Garden is sloping so not great for sitting in."

"We were looking for a base for a few days away and this fitted the bill well. A couple of previous reviews had commented upon general cleanliness and we found a child’s toy under the dining table when we got there and an odd sock behind the sofa, suggesting the cleaning wasn’t particularly thorough. ..."
