"We had a lovely stay, we were given a complimentary room upgrade from standard double to deluxe double for our anniversary. We were given a small cake and a small fruit basket as well. We also asked for an extension on our checkout by 1 hour which was given as complimentary. The staff are very helpful and the service was excellent. The hotel is in great condition and has a great bar and restaurant. The location is great too with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby"

"We had to wait a while for our room to be ready. Even though there were lots of staff on the front desk, it didn't appear that they there were all working together effectively. Our room had a large wet patch near the TV but after waiting to get the room, we couldn't be bothered to go down and get it sorted. The shower glass was very dirty but all else ok. We tried a few times to get in the pool and managed to get a half hour slot in middle of the day. Pool was far too small for the needs of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, a real treat. Really spoilt for choice. We only managed to explore half of what was on offer. Good location with polite and helpful concierge service staff at the front of the hotel. A good location, would visit again. "

"Yes Breakfast was great, plenty of options. Rooms were cleaned and prompt response when we requested something. I think for the price we pay, it would be nice to have easy access to a simple cup of water, or complimentary cup of tea or coffee free of charge in the lobby."

"The rooms are very old. The headboard to my bed was off the wall as I walked into my room for the first time and needed to be fixed. In the meantime they let me change rooms. The 2nd room had a black hair on the pillow, an opened dessert wrapper behind the night stand and the fridge ice maker/freezer was inoperable due to it being frozen over. So I requested another room. My third room was a visible upgrade and was actually clean, who would’ve thought! The front desk was approachable about the issues but the manager and housekeeper were persistent on me not moving rooms and overall not pleasant to speak with about THEIR rooms that were not up to the minimum standard. The restaurants were sub par, very over priced and staff was fine. The overall establishment was decently clean and the rest of my stay went fine. "
