"Felt very unsafe due to activities in the parking lot and cleanliness was absent and odor was nauseating. Did not remain on premises to check in"

"Wow, where to start? My room was dirty- sticky debris on the floor and on the counter in the bathroom. I didn’t even want to walk in the room with my shoes and off it was so grimy. Sheets smelled clean but looked dirty (e.g. hair, stains). There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and at one point I could see it wafting in the hallway despite the rooms being non-smoking. When I mentioned something to the manager on duty he told me “not to worry about it”. There are several people using the hotel as a medium term rental which creates a disruptive atmosphere of people talking loudly in the halls, slamming doors and knocking/entering other rooms at all hours of the night. People are in and out- playing music, cussing and yelling in the hallways. It was a very uncomfortable stay on multiple levels. The parking situation as inadequate. The stairs leading to the second floor were filthy too."

"Hot tub was great and quiet. Room was clean. Didn't turn the heat or A/C on until this morning, was comfortable with just a fan. Staff was excellent, shout out to Jesica for the warm welcome. Will definatly stay her the next time I travel to MI."

"Stayed here while visiting a family member at U of M Hospital. Only stayed to sleep and shower. Convenient and easy to get back and forth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. I have to say that the room and bathroom were one of the cleanest I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. And that’s something that is very important to me when traveling. The hotel isn’t the newest and fancy but the cleanliness makes up for it. I always say I only need clean and comfortable and this place met my needs very well. Will definitely stay here next time we are in town. "
