"This is a huge room, more of an apartment actually. Very elegant. Full kitchen, dining and living room with separate bedroom. (Almost 1000 sq ft) Only complaint was no instructions for using all the Perhaps housekeeping neglected to leave. Very nice facility, but a bit overkill for us. Very clean."

"Check-in via lockbox was smooth and easy. I came to Powell River for work and I left before staff arrived and came back after they had gone for the day, but I didn’t need any assistance from them. My room was overall perfect for a work trip. The bathroom was nice and had lots of towels and sundries, the bed was comfortable, wifi was strong. I appreciated the ample storage space for luggage and clothes and it was also a bonus that I had a mini fridge in my room. The only thing I would note is there were quite a few stains on the carpet. I will bring my own slippers next time, I regret not doing so on this trip. Beyond Bliss is walking distance to some great cafes (32 Lakes) and restaurants. I enjoyed my dinner at Genki sushi a block away. I’d stay at Beyond Bliss again!"

"The hotel was very beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and my kids enjoyed it. The grounds were pretty, the coffee in the lobby was nice, and it was very quiet. The Nespresso pods in the hotel room were a nice touch and there was real cream in the fridge for us to use! We were able to stream shows through the TV which was nice for downtime. A couple issues: I was already in the shower and there was no body wash left in the container. This happened in 3 hotels I stayed at this summer - please check that these are full before releasing the room! A staff member came as quickly as they could to give us another one but it was still 15 minutes while I was waiting in the shower. We were also given an accessible room at check in (not booked) which ended up being a bit inconvenient for us as the dining table was awkward in the room and took up a lot of space, and the shower was completely open so the floor was soaking wet the whole time. With four of us showering daily this became a bit of a mess. There was no counter in the bathroom either which made it difficult to get ready for a wedding. Lastly, we were there with a few other families for a wedding and we all had the same last name - it would have been nice to be put together but for some reason we were put far away from the other three groups. Minor issue of course. Overall I would still stay here again but I would double check the room type I'm given and double check the shower amenities!"

"Staying at this property was so much fun. So many interesting things to look at, the staff were great (the hostage was a clever touch) the food was yummy. This property is full of history. I stayed in the jury room, the room was nicely decorated and the 2 beds (one mattress a bit firmer that the other) were different but both very comfortable. I had the best sleep in years. The room had a great view of the harbour, the mill and the concrete ships, The transom over the door in the room let in some light from the hallway at night but its all part of the experience. The room had no bathtub just a shower but as someone who has traveled extensively for work i can say without reservation that I had the best shower ever, I did not want to come out of the shower. I will definitely go back."
