About this property

The Aliyah Treehouse with swinging bridge +285 acres hiking trails

  • Welcome to EarthJOY Village!

Nestled within 285 acres of privately owned forest, EarthJOY Village is home to three stunning treehouses, thoughtfully placed for both seclusion and the option to rent all three for a group adventure. One of our treehouses was even built by renowned Master Treehouse Builder Pete Nelson!

As our guest, you'll have private access to over ten miles of rolling hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to more challenging treks. Along the way, relax in hammocks, swing on tire swings, or explore peaceful creeks. Your adventure begins right below your treehouse!

Discover the Magic of the Aliyah Treehouse

The Aliyah Treehouse is our tallest and most enchanting retreat, soaring 50 feet high with a suspended swinging bridge connecting the main cabin to the Snuggle Palace bedroom. Perfect for families who love to spread out, the main cabin features a full-size bed, while the Snuggle Palace offers a bunk bed with a twin and full-size mattress—a true treetop hideaway!

At EarthJOY, we pride ourselves on offering peace, seclusion, and unique adventures, including our guided tree-climbing experience, where you can ascend into the canopy, challenge yourself with fun tricks, or simply relax in our giant green net.

    A Treehouse Unlike Any Other

What makes the Aliyah Treehouse extraordinary?

A Living Tree Indoors – Step inside and be greeted by a 100-year-old red oak growing right through the middle of your treehouse, its trunk stretching through the roof!

Beautiful Views – The Snuggle Palace deck offers starlit slumber without artificial light or sound—just the peaceful symphony of the forest.

Year-Round Beauty – Whether it's vibrant autumn leaves, winter wonderlands, spring blooms, or summer's lush canopy, there is no off-season for magic here.

Immersive Nature Experience – With endless trees, shaded hiking trails, creeks, ponds, and even wild blackberry patches, every season offers something new to explore.

    Outdoor & Relaxation Spaces

Swinging cabana tree pod for lounging beneath the trees

    Hammocks for ultimate relaxation

Stacked-stone fire pit for cozy nights under the stars

Outdoor café seating on the deck

The Heart Trail – a popular 3.3-mile hiking trail winding through old-growth forests

We’ve also recently acquired two of Kentucky’s largest tunnel landslides—over 150 feet long—waiting for you to explore!

    Comfort & Amenities

Climate Control – A space heater is provided in both cabins, with backup propane if needed.

Bathrooms – A private bathhouse (about a football field away) includes a flushing toilet, shower, sink, towels, soap, shampoo, and paper products. For quick trips, a compost toilet is located just outside your treehouse.

Kitchenette & Cooking – The kitchenette is fully stocked with:

    Two-burner stove

    3- gallon water

    Berkey filter

    Pots, pans, dishes, and utensils

Mr. Coffee Maker & Yeti-style cooler

Charcoal grill outside (bring your own charcoal)

    A True Off-the-Grid Experience

This treehouse is designed for nature lovers seeking an escape from technology. While there are two electrical outlets, they are mainly for the space heater. You can charge phones via USB ports , we recommend bringing headlamps for nighttime adventures.

    Unforgettable Activities

Guided Tree Climb – Ascend into the treetops with a professional guide, challenge yourself with tree tricks, or relax in the giant green net high above the ground.

Scavenger Hunt – Explore the five ponds on-site with a fun scavenger bingo game provided in your treehouse!

Historic Explorer's Cabin – Discover the remnants of an 1800s settler’s log cabin deep in the woods—proceed with caution!

Fishing & Creek Play – Bring a fishing pole for the kids’ ponds, or wade through cool, refreshing creeks on a warm day.

Survival Card Game – Engage your group in an exciting game designed to keep everyone off their phones and immersed in nature!

Nature Invitations – Use the treehouse manual as a guide to deepen your connection with nature and self-awareness.

Our Story & Dream Come True

Our treehouses are built from a lifelong love of nature. As children, we dreamed of having treehouses of our own—crafting imaginary homes from branches, moss, and stone.

In 2007, we founded EarthJOY Tree Adventures, where we guide people to the tops of trees. It was only natural to build a place where they could stay among the branches, too!

In 2009, we trained under Pete Nelson in treehouse construction.
In 2017, the Aliyah Treehouse was born.
In 2019, we built our third treehouse—crafted by my husband, Bill, using wood from the land itself.

Each treehouse is a labor of love, a piece of our dream, and now—a magical escape for you.

    Booking & Policies

No reschedules or cancellations within 30 days of your stay.

Outside of 30 days, reschedules incur a $50 fee.

Rain or shine, our treehouses are always an adventure!

We Can't Wait to Host You!

We love meeting our guests but respect your privacy. If you’d like to say hello, send us a text during your stay—we’d love to connect if we're nearby!

Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or both, your treehouse escape awaits!
