Clean rooms, easy check in the great staff. My wife enjoyed the casino. Definitely out in the middle of nowhere.

Great location. Friendly front desk valet and restaurant staff. Team working in the coffee shop in the lobby needs improved customer service skills.

This was a very clean hotel. Breakfast was good and it was only 3 minutes from Children's Mercy. The shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and a good shower head. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the beds were horrible. Not just in our room, but also our daughter and granddaughter said they didn't sleep well because the bed was so uncomfortable. We had king beds in both rooms, so I can't speak for the queen beds.

I didn’t hate my stay, but I didn’t love it either. Our first night was a bit overwhelming. We were out most of the evening and returned around 11:00 p.m. to a completely packed bar. It felt more like walking into a nightclub than a hotel lobby—people everywhere and extremely loud. We thought we’d check out the rooftop bar to see if it was quieter, but as soon as the elevator doors opened, we turned right back around and called it a night. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, and the walls didn’t do much to block noise. We could hear people talking and walking around throughout the night, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Our second night was much better. The hotel wasn’t nearly as crowded, and we were able to enjoy what the property had to offer. However, many of the “amenities” are open to the public, which takes away from the feeling that they’re exclusive to hotel guests and would explain the overflow of people. The valet parking was excellent—we had no issues at all, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, I think this hotel is geared more toward people looking for a lively nightlife scene. If you enjoy bars, a social atmosphere, and late-night energy, you’ll probably have a great time. However, if you’re not a drinker, prefer a quieter atmosphere, or are looking for a relaxing getaway, this probably isn’t the best fit.
