La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Williams-Grand Canyon Area
10/10 Excellent
"We love this property and stay there often. One of our favorite features is the king rooms with a patio. You can enjoy the nice cool weather in the pines sitting on your patio. If I would say anything needs improvement, it would be the number of staff in the office area there always seems to be just one person and they’re supposed to Mann the front desk, a little market and the bar which seems like a lot for one person."
"The room was filthy. I was stunned that it was in such poor shape. The bedding and towels were clean, and the fridge was clean and cold. Here's the rest:
Bathroom was sort of clean
Baseboards were filthy and shower pan needs some serious scrubbing, and there was hair everywhere - we did not shower
A/C was caked with dirt
A/C remote didn't work and was so grimy
Dust bunnies on the wall
Phone didn't work - no dial tone
Remote controlled the DirecTV box but not the actual TV
Side table drawer kept sliding open and I hit my knee several times
Top right plug under room mirror didn't work
Picture frame was filthy - I wrote 'hi' in the thick layer of dust
Second key card didn't work
We paid a very low price for the room and we knew the bar was low. They didn't reach said bar. We will not be returning."
"My kids loved the tiny home aspect but there were so many moths. One of my kids caught 7 and threw them outside. We decided to turn off the lights so they would calm down. One of my other kids saw a crack in the wall where moths would come in and out of. So it was a losing battle. I got hit in the night by moths flying around. Also the shower didn’t drain. I’m guessing these issues are specific to this one tiny home, but I would think twice about reserving another one in the future."
