"Great location but rooms are very dated and worn out, holes in room carpets. Rooms clearly not fully cleaned, huge spider in a large web, obviously been there for a while."
"We had a great stay here, price was good, breakfast was fantastic and free coffee during the day. The hotel is perfect for the train station and getting into the city centre."
"Was a surprise when we arrived to how dated it was but that was the charm as thats what its about. Lovely couple who have just purchased it with great plans for the place. Great food. Will be going back again"

10/10 Excellent
"Very nice staff were fab nice and friendly great location restaurants and bars not too far away. Lovely walks near the marina."
"We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!"
"Beautiful cottage with comfortable beds and extremely clean! Log fire is a great cozy touch in the cold winter. Local pubs and shops are very reasonable and friendly."
"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "
"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."
