"Hotel was reasonably priced for a reason. Room was spacious and comfortable but a little tired. Nice quiet location though, so had a good night sleep. Breakfast was a disappointment, best leave it at that. I would consider staying again, easy parking, good location and certainly good value for money compared to other options on this occasion. "

"The room is from the 1980's dust and all!!! The reception staff member I met was so rude and tried to charge me more than the advertised price. The room was freezing cold, then was given a unsafe heater. I ordered food from the restaurant, when it came out it had ingredients not mentioned on the menu, that i am intolerant to, so I sent back and replaced with something else, they then tried to charge me for the new meal, I said thats ok could you bring the previous plate out, as if i had paid for it I wanted it, they refused to bring it out. I asked to speak to the manager several times no one would get the manager."

"I booked this property for a 3 generation family celebration. We were warmly welcomed and shown round on arrival. The property was clean and warm and the beds were very comfortable. All bedrooms but the twin were en suite and there was a family bathroom upstairs with a bath. An early problem with a travel cot was sorted quickly and efficiently. Location was great with many family friendly attractions close by. The communal room - kitchen/ dining/ living room - was small for a large group who wanted to spend most of the time together and we had to put 2 trestle tables together to eat as a group. There was a lot of crockery and glassware but the house seemed more aimed at corporate entertaining than for a family group. There were 2 small lawned areas with tables and chairs near the house. The bedrooms had individual door locks and were all supplied with tea/coffee making facilities and ironing boards. "

"Overall excellent, needs a new set of knives in the kitchen. None of the beds in the coach house were made up for us. Which was a pain when the part of our party arrived with 3 under 10's at 9pm."
