"This is a nice property, it's comfortable. The location is great, right next to a good pub and the Gower is so beautiful and this part did not seem too busy. Lots of fabulous walks close by, and great that the property accepted our dog. If you're planning to visit, then perhaps just worth noting - It's not 'on beach' - this is misleading and should be removed from the 'popular amenities' list. But as the description says, it's only a 10 min drive to Hillend car park (6 a day) - there are no cooking essentials - salt, pepper oil - so do bring everything. - and bring beach towels."

"Ceiliog bach is in a fabulous location from which to explore some amazing coastal landscapes. The beaches are stunning with a different beach within reach every day. The wildlife near the cast iron lighthouse was special. Thousands of oyster catcher and eider duck. The cottage is a ten minute walk from the local expansive Broughton beach and close to Rhossili. As a base for walking, you could not have a better spot.Our visit was mid October and we were blessed with good weather, blue skies (for most of the time) rich Autumn colours, a full "hunters moon" and virtually empty beaches. Apart from the wildlife, we had the beach at Whiteford Sands to ourselves.As we were out of season, some of the local amenities were closed but the pub in Llangennith served lovely food and beer. The community shop in Llanmadoc was always a hive of activity with a well stocked shop with freshly baked pasties; the cafe at Cwm Ivy was well worth a visit for both the food and views.At the end of a days walking, we always looked forward to returning back to Ceiliog Bach. The cottage is warm, well equipped and has everything you need. The garden at the back of the house is fully enclosed. The owners, Simon and Jan are welcoming, helpful - you could not want better hosts. All in all, a cracking place for a holiday or short break."

"The property is wonderful, with sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, etc. A cozy spot with a log burner and the animals around. The hosts was wonderful and were easily reachable by text/phone, and are located on the property. A great spot to explore the area. "

"Lovely place in fantastic location. Very comfortable, warm and cosy (we stayed in February). Loved the large living space and the views from it. Hosts helpful and friendly, but unobtrusive. Would highly recommend."
