It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

What really made the stay special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel valued throughout our visit. A charming hotel with fantastic food, beautiful accommodation, and exceptional hospitality. I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Charming hotel and great location. Bar and restaurant onsite were very nice and handy. Breakfast was amazing! Hospitality of the staff, also amazing. Don't let limited parking scare you, they have a nice arrangement for inexpensive overnight parking just across the street. Older facility, so don't expect air conditioning, and of course we stayed there during a historical heat wave in the UK for May. On normal nights, I think temps would be fine. Would recommend and stay at again."

"We found the arrival directions instructions confusing Cocktails pack paid for in advance had not been supplied We had a few irritations, knob on one shower control fell off on first use Dusty under sofas( found when retrieving child’s toys)Very little washing detergentVery little olive oil , salt or pepper all expected. 2 electric sockets in kitchen not working 1 Bed broken, had a poor repair so gave way on first use We noted a few damaged items on arrival :broken front to tray in freezer , paper screen in main bedroom had rips We had one breakage : a glass flute The property worked well however for our combined family needs .Thank you"

The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."
