"We had a great time! This was our 8th year renting a cabin and having the three families come together. The property was plenty big enough for us to spread out, the tweens to run around, and the adults to relax. Having the shed on site with additional water toys and floats was a huge plus. The owner was easy to work with and get ahold of if we needed anything."

I’m so thankful places like this exist and are being preserved and cared for by people who are passionate about history and story telling. "Our time at Menomonie was terrific. The house is extremely spacious and has fantastic views of the lake. The kids spent hours in the yard playing soccer, baseball, and volleyball. The downstairs provided more fun with the ping pong table and pool table. Everyone had their space and we had many options for entertainment. The walk down the long stairway is very safe and in great condition. It was nice to sit by a fire and enjoy a nice conversation with s’mores by the firepit. The grill room and porch was also a nice area to play some cards and have a few beverages.The fishermen in our group spent hours at our pier and on the boat. They had more success at the pier. It was a weird week for fishing with the high temps from previous weeks with the algae buildup, but the boat was still used and we did explore the lake a bit. Our group enjoyed a bit of everything at this house. There was plenty to do and the local golf club even blocked a few hours for ten of us to play a scramble with the kids. The town of Menomonie is very nice and people are very friendly. We had a great week celebrating our parents’ 50th anniversary and spending time together in a very nice home that accommodated everyone."
