"I've patronized Vrbo homes for many years. This residence by no means met my standards of a vrbo home. To add to my discontentment the host didn't take accountability for my legitimate concerns/complaints, in which primary was the result of poor housekeeping. We had to clean animal hair as well as fragile household items/equipment. I/we wouldn't wish the unsatisfactory experience we had in the residence on no one."

"This location was absolutely fine for the amount paid. It was clean and secure. Access was easy and owner communication was very quick! The space itself is a little sparse. It could definitely use some more furniture, especially seating. As for the location, I think the owners spell it out pretty clearly in their ad. This is not exactly an up and coming neighborhood but at no time did we ever feel unsafe. But, if you’re easily freaked out, maybe keep searching. It IS an easy drive to downtown Durham though. Overall, we would stay here again! "

"My 3 friends and I LOVED this home! Location is perfect for accessing anywhere in town that you want to go (by vehicle). Just a few minutes away from Duke University and all of the fun downtown hot spots.The house itself is SO cozy. There are fans in each bedroom (which you need in the south). Having 4 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was AMAZING! We had our own "private" space to stretch out when we needed it. The bathrooms are stocked with all the amenities you need, just as you would keep them at your own house. The living area/kitchen and front porch are inviting and cozy, perfect for relaxing and spending time together with friends. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, but don't miss out on the local eateries - everywhere we ate was DEE-licious! The little touches in the house (such as PLENTY of coffee - again, it's a southern thing) made me feel like I was at home.If you need to stay in Durham, this is the place!"
