It was a little bit noisy being on a main road but only for a few minutes each day. We still liked sitting on a seat outside watching the Traffic go by. Hosts were friendly.

Despite the roadworks outside, we enjoyed our stay. Lovely comfortable unit, close to town and supermarkets only a very short drive away. We would definitely use Gateway Motor Lodge again 👍

The GML was clean and well appointed. We had a two bed apartment which, whilst simple, had a small and usable kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of space. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

This was a last minute booking due to the cyclone. The motel is a 20 minute walk out of town but there are a couple McDonalds, an excellent curry house and pastry shop with a couple of minutes walk.

Unit was clean, comfortable, and had all that we required. There was only enough utensils, crockery for 3 people so if a visitor called in they were unable to have a cuppa with us.

Convenient and sufficient. Less than 10 mins to leave to get a burgher and be back to eat it. Despite being close to main road, no disruptive noise from traffic. Staff promptly changed kettle charging stand when it became intermittent connection. Drew their attention to "sticky" bathroom tap.

Very disappointing
Very disappointed with this motel. No table or chairs. Very small TV. No cupboard for crockery or utensils. Infestation of ants! I would never stay there again. Air conditioning did not work properly.

This place is ok but was quite expensive for how old it is and where it is. Still need to drive to town and no good cafe or restaurants close by. A bit noisey from road but still slept ok. Does have close access to river path by Cobham bridge.
