"My first VRBO experience was absolutely incredible. We tried to visit here last fall to see the leaves & colors, were unable to get the dates right. This visit was to visit a couple of State Parks in the area--actually visited 4 in 2 days. GMH's 'home' was just as advertised PLUS! It was better then the pictures and descriptions in every respect. One mission was to meet the 'Inkeeper' and we did just that! Speechless is the best way to describe the entire experience. WE WILL RETURN this fall!"

"This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for our Blowing Rock getaway. the location was Perfect - we walked to dinner every night and all around town during the day. Also was close to Blue Ridge Parkway when we decided to venture out further. Bed was comfy, loved that there was an ice maker and the place was so clean."

"This was a return visit to the beautiful peaceful cottage. We got to meet Tonya, her husband and Tonya mother. We enjoyed our stay. When we were at the cottage we stayed on the front porch watching the birds and wildlife. We saw dear, squirrels, and we think a bear cub. There were red birds, doves, blue jays, woodpeckers and all kinds of birds. The cottage is so comfortable and cozy. Love the way it is decorated. Will go back to this cottage every chance I get."

"We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. "Not easy to find, get to. Beautiful place and view; hot tub was wonderful, beds very comfortable, the weather was lovely. The kitchen was clean, well equipped, and cozy. We enjoyed our time together in the cottage. The property could benefit from handrail on lower steps from driveway to upper deck and front door, garlic powder in spice rack, fire extinguisher in a more prominent location in case of fire emergencies."

"My wife, our adult son, and our cocker spaniel stayed here over a weekend. We had an event in Blowing Rock on Saturday and it was super convenient to get in town or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The Food Lion was minutes away, but we felt like we were in the mountains. It was a bit cold, but we used the outdoor grill and would have enjoyed sitting on the porch during warmer weather. Plenty of seating, a great kitchen table for board games...

"Owner was great with communication. Home Decorated nicely. The kitchen was well stocked With dishes & towels. Bedrooms were good size. Bathrooms with linens and good size. Downstairs bed & bath really nice. Small no door trundle bedroom could use a door. (It’s right off kitchen) Comfy upstairs living room. Laundry room upstairs a plus. Convenient to downtown. Great stay!"

"The property was just as described in listing, and as reviewed by others. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The property managers responded very quickly to our request for a sponge and hose. The house is on the main street (as are almost all of the vacation rentals in town), and after reading reviews, I packed my Loop ear plugs because I’m a light sleeper. I had no trouble sleeping; slept very soundly in fact!"

"The house was great open space so we could all enjoy our time together. I loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee. Very close to everything. The only thing was the floor s needed to be cleaned and some dusting. But the beds were clean and so were the bathrooms. Yes I would stay there again."

"The home is very quaint. It is a bit noisy on the interior due to the engineered materials used throughout the home. Slightly awkard property lot, with facing the small apartment complex, it makes the back patio and front porch seem less private, also obstructs a partial view. The bathroom design is also, just a bit different. Functional and "modern or euro" but kinda quirky due to layout. No mechanical/Structural issues with the home.
