"A servicable place to sleep but the upkeep needs looking into. The double bed was broken and sagging on arrival which didn't get fixed until the next day, and the paint in the living room is peeling as well as the (very small) shower room having mould from previous guests not ventalating it while showering. This accomodation is also unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues because the stair cases are more like ladders.If you just need a place to sleep and store your stuff then its fine."

"Pros: The area in which the property is located is perfect as you're close to everything. It is a cute little flat and decebtly decorated and had almost everything you needed for tour stay. However, Cons: The property was not the cleanest. There was cob webs, and it seems it was not cleaned nor wiped down properly before we accomodated it. The utensil and utensil tray in the draw was filthy. Almost every fork we took out had bits of food that was never cleaned from them previously which was...

"The moonshine loft is a lovely little apartment for a few days in Whitby, we are only in our early 70’s so the 50 steps are no problem at all. We have stayed there twice now and look forward to more visits in future. Our only suggestion would be to make the parking arrangements clearer as not being locals to Whitby we fell foul of the traffic warden. A map with the parking permit would help."
