Great time!
Our family badly needed a vacation, even if only for the weekend! We booked this for Father’s Day weekend. We had never stayed on Lake Weatherford before. We used to have a place on Possum Kingdom. This lake is smaller, but we had a blast on the dock, jumping in(not diving) chasing footballs that fell in the water, fishing, and jet skiing! My husband and I had a really good time jet skiing slow around the lake and looking at all the new builds. There are lots of new homes out here that are so pretty! We got there and opened the gate that had a lock you open with a code. Then there is a semi-steep driveway. Put your parking brakes on. The only door to the house is facing the lake. You have to tap pretty hard to make the electronic numbers on the lock appear. We went inside and were very happy with how open and spacious the home is! It’s decorated so cute! I love it! There were lots of supplies so we really didn’t need much from the store! There were paper towels and toilet paper, shampoo soap, etc. there was only a Keurig coffee maker there. They left us 6 pods. But know in advance to bring keurig style pods if you are serious about coffee! My bed was super comfy. I loved the soft and fluffy comforter in the master bedroom. The shower was also nice and hot with great water pressure. In the master, the windows have blinds and sheer curtains - so not black out so bring your eye mask if that’s an issue. They just put in soft new Bermuda sod so we had several games of football!

Loved it!
This little getaway on the lake is so peaceful and relaxing. This lake house was very NICE! We are from ftw and we were looking for a place away from the city noise. And we are very happy we found this place, it is just gorgeous, upon arrival the view was just stunning. And walking in the home it was very clean and must add it smelled great :) the house was very well stocked with everything u could possibly need, from bath towels, tp, dishes pot and pans, bottled water, washer and dryer even detergent and fabric softener. Theres a large deck with table and chair were we spent most of our time, even bbg grills. I will admit our gps lead us a lil off the way but the host stayed in great communication with us and helped us find the way. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody. I would love to stay here again. Thank u to our host. We absolutely LOVED it!

Not a good experience
This property was nothing like the pictures on the website showed. I specifically told the property owner that the purpose of our visit was to have a relaxing weekend and do some fishing. We got to the property and the water level was so low, there were people in the middle of the lake and it was knee deep. I contacted the property manager and she tells me, "she forgot" to tell me the water level was so low. We ended up leaving the property 15 minutes after we arrived and stayed in a hotel for the weekend. Horrible experience!

The sounds of nature
Just far enough out of town to enjoy the sounds of nature but, close enough to have a nice dinner on the square in Weatherford. Plus it was only 13 minutes from the Hollow Hill Event Center where we attended a wedding on Saturday. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck early morning and evening listening to the trees rustle and the birds sing. Inside, the beds were cozy, kitchen has all the essentials plus some. Really appreciated the music playing when we walked in. Owner responds very quickly to messages and the check-in/check-out process was seamless.
