Great property and condo, little bit far from local landmarks
Really loved the property and it was super clean and well appointed and lovely access to the beach. The host was very communicative and responsive as well. Found it to be a bit remote from services that we wanted to access (golf, fishing, etc), but no fault of the host in that, I think more that I failed to research the distance to Monterey and Pacific Grove.

Anniversary Getaway
Beautiful condo on the Beach. Nicely accessorized kitchen. Gorgeous sunsets and miles of sandy beach to walk. Easy parking on the premises. Host was delightful to communicate with and very timely and detailed with responses.

Spring Break Getaway
My family .. Myself, husband, a 2 teens stayed for 3 days during spring break. We had an amazing time reconnecting as a family. Maria’s property was an integral part of our positive experience. Check in was super easy.. Everything was as listed. The view was actually better then I had expected.. The photos on the listing really don’t do it justice. The kitchen was well appointed. We were able to enjoy family meals and game nights.. We even took out the pickle ball set.. I’m gonna need some practice.. My kids had me running all over the court!! Overall.. Everything was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Great Remote Spot

A hidden gem!
This was an amazing place to stay on the California Coast. The condo was very well appointed with everything needed for an amazing stay. The property has walking trails, a nature center, and is nestled in a quiet little secluded area near Watsonville. It is centrally located to several great attractions like the Monterey Aquarium, the Mission Santa Cruz, and Carmel.

A great location at Pajaro Dunes
My family (wife, two young kids) and I had a very nice 3-day stay at Maria's condo. The location was just what we were looking for (near the north end of PD, so close to actual dunes we could play in) and also not overwhelmed with people. We really liked the ease of access to the beach from the west-side condo, and the nice view to the water. Everything in the condo worked well, and the few times we had a question, Maria responded right away! Our girls had a great time as did we. Highly recommended!

Loved the stay. Wonderful spot to relax. Only thing I would say was the cleanliness of the place wasn't great. The windows look like they hadn't been clean for a while and had cobwebs all over them so we clean them for you and then after that the view was great

Great Stay!
The host, Maria, was quick and excellent with her communication. The check-in process went smoothly thanks to very detailed instructions. The unit itself was very clean and modern, just as described in the listing and shown in photos. We enjoyed some of the extras that were available such as board games and beach gear. The only downside to this unit was its location on the first floor. Although this gave easy access to the beach, the gorgeous ocean view was partially obstructed by the dunes. Having stayed on units higher up, we prefer the unobstructed views of the ocean better. With that being said, we would still consider staying in this unit again because of everything else it offers.

It is always a personal preference between units on the beach as we are with views of dunes and ocean from living room and deck, or higher up units with more view but you have the stairs. Amazing condo with attentive owner!
This was our first time booking a vacation rental and the only reason we selected this unit was because of Maria's reviews. Maria is extremely attentive, we asked if she had an iron and she said "by the time we arrived there would be one." She not only provided an iron, also a steamer. Maria's condo has absolutely everything you would need and more for your stay. Her condo is pristine, very clean and many items have never been used. The shells on the beach were absolutely amazing I am from Southern California and haven't seen shells like this in over 40 years. The ocean was actually closer then we expected, such a nice surprise! We loved our time at this unit and we would certainly spend time here again!

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay right on a gorgeous California beach, this is the place. The unit is fully stocked with everything you will need. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. This location is perfect for day trips to Carmel and Big Sur. We had a fabulous time!

GREAT GET AWAY ON THE BEACH!
Just recently stayed at this impressive beach house last weekend! Looks like it has been completely remodeled including all the furniture and decor! We spent a lot of time in this cozy home watching movies, reading on the deck right on the beach and making some appetizers in the well-appointed kitchen. This a very peaceful community just steps away from the beach. The beach is a great for walking and jogging. We saw few people fishing and a lot of people enjoying the sun! We did a day trip to Carmel which is only 30 minutes or so away. There is a new Starbucks and gas station 2 miles from the beach house right before you get on the freeway to go to Carmel. It was nice to do a day trip and to be able to come back to a gated community to spend the night and relax. We also liked that they have a general store on the premises in case you forgot any items at home or wanted to shop for dinner. They have a great wine selection as well! I would highly recommend this home to anyone one! it is suitable for any type of family or friends situation. Will definitely be back again!

Beach-front hideaway
This is a little hidden beach-front gem in Watsonville! The unit is located in a neighborhood called Pajaro Dunes in a very rural area. You are flanked by the beautiful (private) beach on one side, and farmland on the other. This makes for a very quiet and relaxing beach-front vacation. Nothing beats waking up to the sound of the ocean. The house was very well-stocked with necessities that will last you 1 or 2 days, just bring food! However, it does take some time to drive into town for supplies and activities, and drive with caution around the farmland! Place at the beach
Loved the property! Feels like you are far away from everything except the beach, which is practically right outside the door. In reality, city conveniences are close and easy to get to. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pajaro Dunes condos are about 30 min from Monterey so car rental is a must. There is traffic between 4-6pm so plan accordingly bc hwy 1 is only one lane going to Watsonville. The place was great in general. Ample space for small families. Some of the bathroom drawers need to be cleaned a bit better and the toilets don't have a strong flush so you need to be careful with them. The sunsets were gorgeous every night. There is no air conditioner but there is usually a cool wind at night. Place has fans. Grocery stores are kinda far so be sure to bring food. The road in is along strawberry farms. Overall, we had a very nice stay and the flat was decorated nicely.

Perfect Location for Friends Getaway
This beautifully appointed condo was the perfect setting for a girl friend’s vacation. It had everything we needed. It is steps away from the beach, has a view of the ocean from a very comfortable living room couch, and is conveniently located to good restaurants and supermarkets. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful, a great escape from the hectic pace of everyday life. We are looking forward to returning as often as we can.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
My best friend and I booked this beautiful unit to getaway, relax and decompress after my daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect choice (and we even tried to extend our stay, but sadly it was fully booked). It was also fortunate that we were able to get away from the horrible heat wave in the Bay Area and relax at the cooler ocean climate. I was a bit worried before we got there about the heat, and Maria graciously offered to purchase and have delivered two additional fans. We felt a bit guilty because in the end we did not even need them. Maria was an extremely responsive host and we truly enjoyed our stay in her beautiful and comfortable unit.

Serene & Modern~ Ocean Front View~ 2 Bd 2 Bth looked as if it was just remodeled, all the amenities you need and in fantastic shape. Beds were comfortable and great communication with the manager. Steps to miles of walkable beach the unit had 4 beach chairs and towels to use. This unit is located on the ocean side very quiet and private 1st floor. The unit has a tea pot and has both Kerig pod maker and a regular coffee pot which we used. Bring your pickle ball paddles very nice courts and fun.

Absolute Gem!
The condo is fabulous in so many ways. It’s newly renovated and beautifully appointed throughout the condo. Soft sheets, fluffy towels, stocked kitchen with many dishes, pots and pans, glasses, and utensils. The couch/loveseat combo is very comfortable that comes with an incredible view of the ocean and dune or the fireplace if it’s chilly. The patio/deck is perfect and you can choose to sit out and look at the ocean or be in a little and protected from the wind. Oh, it’s literally steps from the beach. Perfect for a small family, girls’ weekend, or just a peaceful solo respite from the crazy world. We felt safe walking on the beach and beautiful grounds of the Shorebirds community. Communication was great and it was such an easy check-in / out process. The owner, Maria, was just coming in to re-stock and check things out as we were leaving. It’s awesome to see an owner invested in the property and making each guest feel welcomed. I would 100 percent stay here again and hope to in the near future. Thank you for sharing your slice of peace and tranquillity. The only thing I would note for a future renter is if you are going to cook all your meals, bring your favorite spices/oils. Nob Hill Grocery Store is only about 4 miles away so everything you need is close.

What a special treat it was for me to bump into you on the beach!!! I so appreciate your kind comments. I also appreciate your input and I ran out and stocked the kitchen with salt & pepper (not the band 😉) and cooking spray. It’s a bit of a challenge to know what to stock that makes everyone’s stay better, and allowing the time for our house keeping to keep that spice area neat and clean and presentable for our guests. I will continue to work to find a happy medium and I am always so grateful for constructive tips! We do want all to enjoy their stay! Quiet and beachy

Anniversary Getaway
We had an amazing time. Clean quiet space right by the beach is pretty hard to beat. Maria made everything easy and simple. We would definitely come back in the future.

Love this condo
Unit 248 is just like the photos--only better. It's decorated in soothing earth tones with comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. Maria has thoughtfully included little extras that aren't in every rental--spa bathroom products, foil and plastic wrap, and dish liquid. It's one of the best places we've stayed. The dunes hid the view of the water but it's only a few steps to the deck. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay!
