"The hotel was a nice surprise. The room was generous in size and comfortably appointed, as was the big terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered a host of nice surprises ... laundry self service, generously stocked fridge, fresh bread and pastries in the morning, heated bathroom floor, a breakfast nook on the terrace, great coffees and other snacks, and a turn down service. The hotel's location was also superb. We will definitely come back."

"The house has amazing views from its deck and the ability to move the plastic table from outdoors to indoors and part way worked well to deal with the range of hot sun and strong winds we encountered. The house is clearly 50 years old and seems to have had little love recently. To some extent this is reflected in the price but the offering could be improved by spending less than R1000 on removing a broken pot by the front door, providing more than one saucepan, one dish towel and two toilet rolls and replacing a missing plastic wheel in the dishwasher. In short, a great house but let down badly by small details and its overall condition. "

The apartment was cleaned every day for us which was a joy, we even had the pool to ourselves most days. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. "This villa should be perfect given the price, what should be a great property was spoiled by a lack of attention to the swimming pool and despite complaints about it, this was unresolved by the owner. Our stay was also affected by the previous renter, damaging blinds in two of the bedrooms. The property management team did a great job in providing a solution but we were also impacted when the blind company came to the premises and could not provide a solution, due to a break down in communication. We reported a shower failing to drain properly, after 3 nights along with a faulty fridge door, neither of which were resolved during our stayThe swimming pool was cloudy and dirty on arrival, a situation that was never resolved. The owner directly employed a pool cleaner , and not the property management company. This caused issues in communication and ultimately a pool that was never properly cleaned. The robotic pool hoover was useless and almost permanently stuck in the bottom corner of the pool, unlike other properties that we stayed in, where the hoover worked well. Use of a pool was a prime reason for renting this property, so this proved to be a huge disappointment, for my family. At the end of our stay, I provided the above feedback to the property management team on checkout."
