"The six of us were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, comfortable layout and arrangement of furniture, airy feel of the cathedral ceilings, and the ideal location near the Watauga River. We woke to bright morning sun in the living and dining areas and watched the sun set on the spacious porch. We all agreed that we will be back some day. "

"Gorgeous property and generous home. This was a gem of a place, easy to find, closer than I thought. The dock was easy to get to, the stairs were solid, and there was a little bistro set halfway down where I had coffee with my 81-year-old mother, who easily made it down that far to enjoy the lake view.The kitchen was well-equipped, and the landscaping around the home was thoughtfully designed. The deck chairs and cornhole toss game were big hits. The sweeping views of the mountains are stunning from the front porch. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for us. We were a party of 7, including a 10-year-old, and we had plenty of room. We moved the loveseat to face the couch and the coffee table to improve the flow of the living room area. There aren't many options because that space is narrow. BUT it was no hindrance, as we had a BLAST, and the kitchen table was big, and the bar was also a great seating option for the whole gang when we came in for the evening to chat and play some games. RENT THIS NOW."

"The property was the perfect mountain vacation for our family visiting Tennessee. The kitchen has an exceptional amount of cookware, which made it very easy for us to cook a wide variety of meals at home. It has a massive island in the kitchen, and the gas fireplace in the living room was super cozy. Plenty of space for the kids and dog to run around and play. Also, we saw wild turkey and deer walking just a few yards from the house. I highly reccomend this property."

Two families and a total of 8 of us, there was plenty of space and the pool table was a huge hit, and the views from the living room and porch were breathtaking, felt very secluded and private. Saw deer the entire time we were there. Plenty of kitchen utensils to cook meals. We would definitely stay again, none of us wanted to leave! "
