"We had a great stay at Hampton Haven. It is close to hiking trails and Wautaga Lake. It is also perfect for a larger family. We had a lot of room to hang out in the beautiful kitchen/family room area. The wrap around deck and fire pit area was a wonderful bonus and we enjoyed both. The kitchen is well stocked and having extra supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags was also a very convenient and appreciated."

"Cute little cabin. Very homie with lots of decor making your visit feel more as an experience instead of just a stay. Well stocked with paper goods. Lots of extra small appliances so you can make any type foods you want. Full size appliances that work great. TV. Super comfy bed. Cozy rooms. Big front porch to sit outside and relax. Covered parking. Pet friendly, bring your own poop bags. Ieft some for the next visitor. Great water pressure. Close the the lake and town and only a few minutes from the city. Great places to visit close and local small businesses to see. All around a awesome trip. The only con we had was the noise of hwy 321 which is a main road. Oh yeah, it had big fluffy towels which were great also. Everyone needs to stay here once in their life. Tony was an awesome host and answered all our questions. 9.9 out of 10."
Luxury Lake Chalet Hot Tub Private Boat Slip Amazing Mountain View’s Sleeps 10

"This house is awesome! Full of character…. You could walk into a room 5 times and the 6th time you’ll notice something else as far as decoration and/or construction. We stayed in July of 26 when most area lakes were very low, this one included, so we weren’t able to use the boat slip, however Tom referred us to the neighboring subdivision who not only allowed us to use their boat slip, but they allowed us to store our boat trailer there for a one time fee. The lake is beautiful and we had a blast tubing, swimming and exploring. Our boys LOVED the loft/doghouse room and I loved the waterfalls, both inside and out! The roads are a little steep and narrow, so keep that in mind if you’re towing anything, but then again, it’s the mountains of Tennessee! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet stay on a beautiful lake! :-)"

"House was perfectly described. We were unable to use washing machine, but host was communicative and apologized. The weather did not cooperate, but that is no one’s fault!! I would like to add disclaimer— though this house has lake access and private dock, reaching it is an undertaking. Dock access is not for the faint and should be taken into real consideration. Over all stay was wonderful for our family. Thank you for hosting us!!"

"This place is perfect for a big family that wants an easy vacation at a beautiful location. We especially appreciate that there are different locations around the property where everyone can have some privacy and have fun. The porch off the kitchen is perfect for relaxing and reading a book. We love spending time on the porch with a hot tub and the big covered porch with the pool table is great for entertaining and just having fun after getting out of the lake. The owner is quick and kind with any feedback or issues we would get this vacation in A Plus."

"Nice quiet location. Small parking lot/driveway but easily held 3 cars & a truck. Easy access to town and nearby, new public boat ramp ( Sink Mountain). House plenty big for 8 people and had everything we needed to cook large meals. Extra refrigerator/freezer on 2nd floor was very helpful. The icemaker upstairs is currently out but the lower level one works well. If you need extra large amts of ice, there is now a 24 hr. dispenser at the store/restaurant in Butler. The dock is uncovered but we knew that ahead of time and brought a 10 x 10' folding, canopy tent which worked great when tied down to the dock cleats. Missed having a Keurig for single cup use but coffee pot was fine. Cellphone reception is typically spotty in the area but WiFi at house worked great and allowed 2 people to work remotely quite well. There was plenty of water in the back end of the cove even with the lake being unusually low for mid-summer time ( 6-8 ft. below normal). Still had 10' at end of dock."
