"My husband and I took our 2 kids and dogs to this cabin and it did not disappoint! We were snowed in and couldn’t access our vehicle. So if you’re going up during the winter months, definitely have an all terrain car! But the owners son came to our rescue everyday and brought us groceries and helped us carry all our luggage in his truck! Such a blessing! Even though we didn’t get to explore the area, there was plenty of things to do at the cabin! Kids sled down the hills, we walked all over the property and down to the lake and played countless games inside. Lots of memories were made and would definitely come back. Great trip! "

"We absolutely loved this cabin! There was plenty of space for three adults and our two large dogs, which made the stay very comfortable. The hosts were wonderful—responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had. If you’re looking for a relaxing, authentic cabin experience, this is the perfect place. "Really loved the Mountain and fresh air. We stayed there over Christmas and met with our grandchildren and son. Plenty of room, everything you need, and plenty of hiking into the Cherokee National Forest! We did fireworks, had Christmas Eve, with our extended family there and plenty of room. Really loved that laundry was in the house, because we did all our laundry before we got back to the real world.There is a bathtub that is just deep and huge, to take a nice hot bath. The host, Jimmy and Lucy were great host.We look forward to the next time, that we stay.We will be back."

"The apartment was great! The location was good as it was close to the lake and Elizabethton. There were also a few shops, a restaurant and coffee shop right in Hampton. The beds were very comfortable and we lived that the place was decorated for Christmas. "

"Well what to say! As a Naturalist and Zoologist I was excited from the booking and the VRBO was everything and more! Between an incredible host to a cabin that was spotless and comfortable, I never wanted to leave! We saw Otters every morning come down the rapids and then the highpoint was a Beaver and juvenile right off the cabin! I work with one and it was just perfect. I could go on and on but I know we will back! The area, the beauty and none for miles! It was priceless!"
