"My husband and I took our 2 kids and dogs to this cabin and it did not disappoint! We were snowed in and couldn’t access our vehicle. So if you’re going up during the winter months, definitely have an all terrain car! But the owners son came to our rescue everyday and brought us groceries and helped us carry all our luggage in his truck! Such a blessing! Even though we didn’t get to explore the area, there was plenty of things to do at the cabin! Kids sled down the hills, we walked all over the property and down to the lake and played countless games inside. Lots of memories were made and would definitely come back. Great trip! "

"Pros: The house was great and had everything we needed. It had plenty of space and the basement area was a big bonus having 4 teens with us. The owners are extremely responsive and answered all questions and texts immediately. Cons: distance to activities - just be prepared to drive a lot. If remote is what you want this house is perfection. "

"We LOVED our stay at Bear Cub Cabin! The cabin was immaculately clean (and I'm picky about cleanliness) - you would never guess this cabin was pet friendly. It was cozy, decorated well, new, and bright. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were SO comfortable, the blankets extra soft, and heat/AC could be adjusted in each room so all of our temperature preferences were met. My kids loved the upstairs den (and are 11 and 13 but this spot would be even more fun for younger aged kids). The outdoor firepit appears new and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The hot tub was also overlooking the water and we all enjoyed it. The dock looked so fun and was well equipped for summer fun with kayaks - we can't wait to return to use in the summer. It was honestly perfect for our family of four (plus dog). As the other reviews mention, Charity - the owner - was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable (leaving out s'mores supplies for us, cleaning and leaving warm blankets for us for to use around the firepit because she knew it would be cold, providing reccomendations for nearby hikes to do with our puppy). Wifi worked perfectly in the cabin. We watched family movies each night on the tv. We give this cabin our highest recommendation! "
