"This is a perfect spot for a fishing getaway! Johnny and Denise are wonderful hosts, but not as wonderful as George the cat, who is friendly as can be and knows more about fishing than I do. This room was the best possible combination of hotel/independent vacation rental. It was cleaner than many hotel rooms I've been in and includes a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. "We had family camping at the state park for the long weekend and wanted to stay close by. The cabin was perfect. We had time to visit easily and also an air conditioned place to sleep in. It also is dog friendly so we were able to bring the dogs. Getting a dog sitter on a long weekend is difficult. "

The furnishings were not your usual VRBO stuff which is hand me down, yard sale type. The furnishings are really nice, the bed was super comfortable and the linens some of the softest we've had.
