"Excellent Pet-friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were perfectly clean and acceptable, the little fridge for fresh milk was a bonus as those plastic cartons are awful. The food was absolutely wonderful on the evening meal, lovely and fresh and pleasantly presented. Breakfast, there was so much choice other than Full English which was a pleasant surprise. All in all everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there and we will be back in the future."

"Mandy rang us to ask what time we would expect to be there on the day, then met us as we parked up. Mandy was very friendly and warm. There were fresh cakes and coffee/tea when you are in the reception, you help yourself. Everything was spotless. The room was amazing, under floor heating in the bathroom was a treat. The bed was so comfy. The breakfast was perfect, the french toast was epic, you won't need lunch, the portion was a great size. I would recommend the home made granola, delicious. All the staff were friendly, her grandchild at breakfast was really helpful, I swear she was the boss really. Couldn't fault the place, great location."

"Oake Cottage is a cosy place to stay. It was spotless. A proper home from home with everything you could possibly need. The location was ideal. Easy access to the village. Lovely walks from the door. Choice of a river walk, beach walk. Alnwick 7 miles away - Barter Books a must to visit. Amble just a mile away by road. But just round the corner from the Cottage Mason’s Arms. Excellent food. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely beautiful apartment with a view to die for. There were so many lovely little personal touches in the apartment, that it’s hard to list them all but you really won’t be disappointed. I had good communication with the host and there’s plenty of valuable information in the apartment. The apartment itself was deceptively spacious and had amazing amenities- every kitchen appliance you may possibly need; a shower capsule that offered everything - radio, steam capsule or monsoon rain, or a relaxing bath. Everything was tastefully designed and even though I was travelling solo, I would recommend to friends with fur babies or children for the thoughtfulness of everything you might possibly need- more so than any other place I’ve stayed. It’s was in a really good location to venture to the harbour, marina and shops/eateries (practically on your doorstep). I would definitely love to return and will miss looking out of the window to see the view of the marina and Warkworth Castle. "

"Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation in a beautiful village. Even though the property is in the centre of the village, its location makes it very peaceful. This is helped by the lovely gardens. "

"The property is nice and in a great location in the centre of Warkworth. It’s a downstairs apartment which they have made great use of the space. Parking close by. The main downside is the condensation in the bedrooms which is causing mould now, there is a dehumidifier there but it’s not making that much difference. Also the bathroom could do with an extraction fan of some sorts. But overall it is a lovely place. "
