"A train came past the house at 7am in the morning. There is no mention of early morning train activity in the description. The mattresses were extremely soft and the blankets were very thin…so we were chilly. The house is beautiful…just these details are something to consider."

"If you're looking for a more secluded place that you don't have to leave then this is it. Beautiful home on the mountain and the host, Lanah, is an absolute gem. The views from the deck were one of a kind. I highly recommend and hope I can make it back there with my kids."

"We had a wonderful family vacation here , the cabin was clean and well stocked. Very nice decor, nicely remodeled. House was a little warm du100 degree days but fans helped circulate the AC. Tubing and fishing was so much fun. The property and landscape is beautiful. "

"We had a wonderful 5-day getaway at the River Perch! The three kids spent hours on the river each day, we went tubing and kayaking, we got to see our dog enjoy her first real swims, and then we got to relax in the very cozy, very clean house with the beautiful front porch view of the Cacapon. Glenn made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for a trip away!"
