Nestled in farm fields along the South Branch River, Nellies is close to many scenic wonders in the Potomac Highlands, including the famous Trough section of the South Branch of the Potomac River. In the midst of where eagles fly, Nellies boasts scenic farm and mountain views in every direction. This farmhouse vacation rental offers a truly relaxing escape in an unforgettable setting. With 3 bedrooms, including a king, queen, full, and two twin beds, everyone will have a comfortable night's sleep. The beautifully decorated bathroom features a large soaking tub and walk-in shower. The newly renovated kitchen is well equipped for cooking while maintaining its historic charm. There is plenty of meal seating for the whole family with bar stools, a kitchen nook with a view and an adjacent, spacious dining room table overlooking the property's pond. Very nice place off the beaten path. My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful evening. Coming from a farm background myself, I enjoyed the drive through the country and staying in a farmhouse. We both enjoyed the hot tub as well. Old farm house with modern face lift.

A perfect 10/10 experience! Cozy, beautifully designed and decorated farmhouse, incredible views, peaceful and private. Equipped to meet all of our needs and wants—lots of extras! Beautiful craftsman home with completely updated appliances and everything we needed for a family getaway- we had 5 adults and two kids. Idyllic historic home with stunning valley views

My husband and I had a lovely time staying here. The hosts have paid superb attention to detail both in the renovation of the home as well as the setup to make it a VRBO. The views of the snowy mountains and valley were incredible, and we had a delightful time watching the deer and the birds at the birdfeeder.

Everything was thought of in the layout of this place. A chair for every window to watch the sunset and sunrise, etc. And it was well maintained! The hot tub was a highlight - lots of available kitchen supplies and games made us want to stay longer in order to use them…especially Appalachian Monopoly. Well done!

Slice of a paradise, stellar home

Wow what a gorgeous home. The hosts have thought of everything and clearly have impeccable taste. Nellie’s feels cozy and luxe at the same time. The views are phenomenal and the hot tub was soooo relaxing. Gorgeous bathroom and comfortable beds. Everything we could have asked for a more.

Everything was so nice!

The farmhouse was charming! The kitchen was stocked with nice cookware and cooking utensils. Coffee grinder for fresh coffee. We brought our own sugar and cream. Wonderful tub! Bathroom stocked with salts and bubble bath.

Clean & Cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculate and beautifully decorated home. The owners have done a wonderful job of keeping the home’s historic charm while at the same time offering all the modern conveniences. We enjoyed movies, puzzles, and games, but the most special memory was soaking in the hot tub while taking in the spectacular farm and mountain views at sunset! It was just what we needed to get away and relax with family! Kelly was accommodating and quickly answered any questions. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the area!

Breathtakingly Beautiful

The views were our favorite! Such beautiful scenery. The home has been updated and all the decor is so beautiful. The kitchen and the bathroom had everything we would need and all the appliances were so nice. Tons of quality upgrades. The gas logs were nice too. I wish we had time to enjoy the hot tub. Maybe next time!
