"Emerald Lake is a truly magical setting, and the cabins are somewhat rustic but very comfortable. We loved having a real wood-burning fireplace. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and the staff very friendly. The hiking is fantastic."

"Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, enjoyed time in the whirlpool, with ample and close parking. The Kicking Horse River and River Walk was right beside the Motel with easy walking (very close by) to Pedestrian bridge, Spirit Square with a Farmer's Market, shopping, breweries and restaurants. Town is clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again :-)"

"This was such a lovely place, beautiful area with the mountains, and a clean and charming apartment . The apartment was well stocked and plenty of room for our family. They were kind to let our family of 7 stay for an extra fee. Our kids loved playing pool."

"Excellent communication with the hosts. They even mailed us some items we left behind! Golden is a great area to stay away from the hustle and bustle from banff and canmore. Super clean and stocked with some basic kitchen supplies. The hot tub was very clean and over looked some great mountain scenery. Even saw a few bears in the neighborhood- Bonus! This was a wonderful base for visiting the Banff/Yoho area."
