"The home was ideal for our visit to the Finger Lakes. It was an easy drive to get to Hammondsport, Watkins Glen and Penn Yan. Lots of wineries and restaurants in the area. House had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms all well stocked with towels and soap. Lots of places to sit and gather both inside and out. View of the lake was gorgeous. We visited in the Fall so we didn’t go on the lake but canoe, kayak and peddle boat were provided. Lots of good info provided in the guest book and responses to questions were prompt. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was just as advertised. The house was clean, comfortable, the spaces, indoors and outdoors, where spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect for us to enjoy the finger lakes region. All worked out perfect for us. I would stay back here if back in the area."

"You had to drive quite a bit aways to reach places but it's a rural area. Very beautiful, neighborhood is very friendly to everyone. Very helpful with directions and questions. It's quiet and peaceful. If you need tranquility this is the place. "

"Waneta Lake CottageA peaceful cottage nestled amongst trees on beautiful Waneta Lake. The location was a good central point to enjoy the magic of the Finger Lakes. The cottage was everything we needed. It was well equipped and had plenty of indoor and out door seating. Kent is a wonderful, kind host and quickly answers all questions. We were too busy horseback riding, visiting wineries and getting massages to enjoy the kayaks that are provided. We will use them next time because we’ll be back!Mark & Sue"
