"The Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel was a fantastic choice for our family of three adults and two kids.
We were immediately impressed by how spacious and spotlessly clean our room was, easily accommodating all five of us. As a traveling family, we especially appreciated the thoughtfulness that the sofa bed was already made up when we arrived—a huge win! All the amenities provided were great and contributed to a very comfortable stay.
The complimentary breakfast was very nice, offering plenty of variety for both the adults and the children. Most importantly, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit.
Overall, this was an excellent purchase and we highly recommend it, especially for families!"

"We really felt that the house had many issues that needed to be addressed before they rented. In the master bedroom the bed was very high, and I almost fell climbing in because the rug slid out from under me. They showed an out side grill we couldn't use because it was filthy. The hallway light was out and we couldn't find the switch for the out side light which made it very dark coming in and out of the house. The downstairs toilet backed up on us. The shower door in the main bathroom was hard to operate. The TV in the main bedroom was not working and the managers could not provide a solution. The main thermostat was very hard to operate and finally they did come and replace it. It could be a very nice place if they fix these issues and had included more instructions."

"We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. "

"Upon arrival the barge parked there was an eye sore. However it was removed upon request.The bed and the sofa were very uncomfortable!We had to buy cleaning supplies from dirty windows to soiled handles. The fire extinguisher needs to be updated.overall the property not suitable for four people even though we were only two peopleI thank your neighbor Zac Stout for telling us about you! The dock area is amazing!"

"We stayed here for my sister's bachelorette party. The house was as pictured with ample beds in bedrooms for us all to stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Since it was the dead of winter we weren't able to enjoy the grounds other than to see the pretty snowscape. It snowed several times over the weekend we were there and the owners were great about having someone come to plow the driveway and salt the pathway. Would love to stay here again in warmer weather. "
