Warm welcome from Altamont Lodge, rooms spotless and plenty of facilities available eg parking, large kitchen and washing machines. Room tip: if possible, avoid room 1, its a bit close to the double doors and bathroom making it a bit noisy but that depends on the other guests! E

clean and tidy we stayed 1 night only there were no vacancies as fully booked but still very quiet so slept well.. Kitchen area and fridge all marked out so everyone knew where their own drinks/food was kept.

Furniture in the common room needs some cleaning. Bad smell and felt dirty. Otherwise a very well stocked kitchen and satisfactory accommodation

I booked this for my Mum and she raved about it. She loved how organised and welcoming it was. The kitchen was very well equipped and clearly labeled fridge space for each guest.

Beautiful lodge/hostel. Everything you need. Property owner is very friendly and gave a wonderful tour upon arrival. Only drawback is that it is a bit out of the downtown area (~2km)... still walkable and a pleasant walk at that... but just a note for those who may have mobility issues and no vehicle. Totally recommend!

As a solo traveller, I thought this was a really good option for a place in Wanaka, one that afforded private rooms but large, tidy and well appointed common spaces. I'd stay here again.

Amazing experience at Altamont Lodge. Jeff is a very friendly and helpful host, and check in was very smooth and immediately made us feel home. The facilities offered cover everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge. Highly recommended!

리폰 와이너리에 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리의 숙소를 찾아보다가 이곳으로 정했어요 객실 내 화장실이 없어서 불편할까 걱정했는데 객실 바로 앞이라 괜찮았습니다 샤워실도 딱히 기다리는 일 없이 사용할 수 있었어요 전체적으로 아주 깨끗하게 관리되고 있어서 만족스러운 숙박이었어요

Fantastiskt och prisvärt

Fantastiskt boende med allt du behöver för en mycket prisvärd kostnad. Trevliga ägare, rent och snyggt, varmt och skönt trots vinter (el-element på rummet och varmvatten i den gemensamma duschen) mm mm. Om vi åker tillbaka till Wanaka kommer vi garanterat bo här igen’
