"Great location and cozy stay, but be aware of the ant issueWe really enjoyed our stay overall — the location was fantastic and communication with the host was great. The property itself was very cozy, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.Check-in was a bit of a wild goose chase at first, so I highly recommend downloading the August app in advance to access the digital key and avoid any delays. There was also a door key included that I didn't attempt to use because I followed along with the check-in instructions provided. The only downside was an unexpected ant issue. When we arrived, we noticed a couple of ants on the floor and cleaned them up. Unfortunately, when we placed a closed food container on the counter, it quickly turned into a full infestation. I even ended up eating some by accident, not realizing they’d gotten into the sealed container.To be fair, it seemed like the host was unaware of the issue before our arrival and has since been responsive and working on a solution. I didn’t feel right giving a full five stars due to the experience, but I still left with a positive impression of the property. If the pest issue gets resolved, I’d definitely consider staying here again."

"The place was overall great but had a few hiccups. We were initially given the wrong address, which made check-in very frustrating. Clearer instructions—especially about which door leads to the elevators—would have helped.You’re required to download a separate app for access info and a security deposit is placed on your credit card, which feels odd for a VRBO stay. We've never had to use a third-party app to access a rental before.The washer worked fine but was quite loud, so I wouldn’t recommend using it at night.The bedroom with two double beds was spacious, with its own bathroom and a large closet. One king bedroom is off the kitchen with no door, and the other king room connects to the shared bathroom but has doors for privacy.Parking is located behind the building. Unfortunately, a neighbor yelled at us to park closer to the curb—even though we were within the lines—which was frustrating after a long day.You’re required to strip the beds and take out the trash upon checkout, which is a bit much when you have an early flight, especially after paying a cleaning fee.Communication with the host was excellent and helpful. However, if the correct address and a direct link to the house manual had been shared upfront, most issues could have been avoided. We were grateful for the offer of a late checkout, though we didn’t use it due to our early departure."

"This property worked great for my family (including me, my husband, young kids, mom, brother and his teenagers). Great interior design with comfy beds. It was very clean and gave us lots of space to hangout. The backyard was beautiful too. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by too. Great option if you need to stay in the Raleigh area. "

"I had a lengthy visit while traveling for work and found the guest house a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay. It is in a very beautiful neighborhood that is great for walking. The space is very comfortable and all of the finishes on the kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. The location is very centralized in the Raleigh area and provides easy access to the many different parts of the city. It is a great place to stay! "
