"Great hotel. Comfy bed clean & warm"

"Attention to detail added to the pleasure of our stay. The space is thoughtfully decorated and use of the kitchen space is maximized by providing a hot plate and toaster that can be switched out for meal preparation. The property is beautiful and we were welcome to walk out to the pastures and see the animals. Everything was spotlessly clean and supplies for breakfast were greatly appreciated. Both Grace and Andrew were welcoming. "

"The house was beautifully clean. The views were amazing. Also the bed were better than home we commented. To have the fire made everything so cozy. Neither of us wanted to leave. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing stay.:) "

"Another fabulous stay at this fantastic hotel. Love the themed rooms and interesting decor throughout the place. Fabulous breakfast. It would be good if there was recycling in the kitchen area - no where to put cleaned yogurt pottels etc. In the rooms recycling is promoted but not in the kitchen area where there is glass and plastic that can be recycled going straight in the bin destined for landfill."

"The motel is very good, I think it is the best choice in Oamaru. It has spa bath, very clean and all the other details are also very good. Definitely will come back. "

"It was a lovely room. Just the right size for our one night stay. We were annoyed that the electric blanket was incredibly hard to find and plug in to use. I broke my permanent bracelet trying to lift the whole mattress to get to the plug on both beds. The heater has 3 different places to make sure it is on (overkill), had to call the desk to get it working. Positives: it is a lovely old hotel with a quirky room system. A few stairs to conquer but also a small elevator. It is very central to everything. A lovely walk up amd down the road to find quaint shops and wonderful old buildings. The people were nice and the cleaning lady was especially perky in the morning. Everyone seemed.to be happy to work there. "
