"This is my first time staying here, I normally stay elsewhere in Oamaru but felt like a change, excellent service from the moment I arrived, every business needs a staff member like the one I met, awesome rooms with themes, very comfortable, great shower pressure, unfortunately I had to leave early so couldn’t partake in the continental breakfast offered but I will be back, my new go to, highly recommended!"

Nice and warm, comfy bed, had a great sleep, loved the deck, and great location, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go but a nice, quiet area too! we walked down to Del Mar on the waterfront and had dinner, was all very romantic! We were even left some delicious cheese and crackers! Nice touch and much appreciated! Thank you katrina!"

"It was a lovely room. Just the right size for our one night stay. We were annoyed that the electric blanket was incredibly hard to find and plug in to use. I broke my permanent bracelet trying to lift the whole mattress to get to the plug on both beds. The heater has 3 different places to make sure it is on (overkill), had to call the desk to get it working. Positives: it is a lovely old hotel with a quirky room system. A few stairs to conquer but also a small elevator. It is very central to everything. A lovely walk up amd down the road to find quaint shops and wonderful old buildings. The people were nice and the cleaning lady was especially perky in the morning. Everyone seemed.to be happy to work there. "
