"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Akaroa Waterfront Motels. Due to the time of year we were planning on the weather potentially being cold and wet - the extra $30+ dollars for the Water View room was well worth it. The rooms are about 4-5 meters from the sea. The spa and massage service was also worthwhile. Although the complex is old the rooms have been freshened up recently and they look good. The standard of cleanliness and overall presentation of the rooms was excellent. We would gladly stay here again."

"We enjoyed the fact that it was very peaceful once we were in our unit. The water pressure in the shower has a great water pressure. The towels were fluffy and absorbent. The drink caddy was topped up daily. The safety aspect of handrails for the stairs and along the balcony was also appreciated especially when it had been raining.
