"Very clean, comfortable and recently renovated facility. Would stay again."

"Easy check in as prepaid room. We were staying a few nights, we dragged up our bags and unpacked everything, loaded up the fridge etc. it was a little stuffy so turned on the air conditioning in the bedroom but there was no power on the unit, no lights coming on, same thing with the one in the living room. I went to the front desk to complain and they sent me back to my room with someone from the front desk, he just confirmed they were not working, we unfortunately had to pack up and move rooms to one which was less ideal. The ocean view is amazing and the view is incredible. Bed was the most plush & comfortable I’ve been in. Nice that the kitchenette had an air fryer."

"This place is the best spot in all of Paihia. Heated pools, raised private level, ocean view, best rooms, great service, beach and playground across the road, easy parking and access, and best price. Once you stay here you never will stay anywhere else but here everytime.. Many thanks. Cheers "

"Cooking facilities good for two guests with microwave, bench top hot plates. This room had spa tub with shower, general spa outside and pool. Staff on hand and very helpful. Ideally situated with short walk to town centre and beach a few steps away. Would recommend."

"We were assigned to a first floor room but I was on crutches and they hastily changed things around so I was on the ground floor. Appreciated."

"We took our own breakfast. The room was clean, you had everything you needed kitchen shower toilet towells etc. Staff very friendly. "

"Lovely staff BUT not a comfortable stay for female alone. Arrived unsure if the hotel was actually functioning as all the lights were off in the smoked glass reception. It was 5.30pm and nearly dark. Discovered there were only 2 other rooms booked. Room was upgraded so larger but layout meant all plug sockets were inaccessible so all had extension leads. Seemed to be a drainage issue - looked and basin v slow. As a lady alone.... Back door needs BOLTs not a twisty know that you can't check if its locked. No outside lighting so when I went out to dinner I had to use phone torch to lock door and to make sure I didn't fall over as no lighting until lane at front. Remote on TV had flat batteries - popped to reception 15 mins after I checked in to find it closed until the morning. The isolation and darkness made me feel vulnerable. Apart from delightful staff and reasonable breakfast, not much I can add!"
