"Lovely little unit by the beachFriendly helpful owner on sitePull out couch was not comfortable to sleep but main bed comfyBeautiful view of the estuary and out to the sanddunes Would definitely stay again Though if the couch is needed for an adult in the future i would see if a mattress was available for on top of it. "

"Beautiful property with newly renovated rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant onsite and it was excellent, particularly the seafood chowder. Staff were very attentive and service was excellent."

"Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper."
