"This is a smaller boutique hotel with all the amenities you need and an outstanding location! The staff was great in the hotel and at Perry's across the hall. We had a great time walking through all the shops at the ferry terminal and strolled through the financial district and Union Square. Our view of the Bay Bridge was amazing and we'll definitely be back. "

"Awesome historical hotel centrally located just steps away from Union Square and Powell St. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Tne rooms comfortable and spacious. The only disadvantage is that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or coffee shop. There is a little smell throughout the property. But in general we enjoyed our stay "

"Service was excellent. Restaurant recommendations were very good. Location - just a few blocks of walking to Ferry terminal or China town and if you like to walk - walk up California st to Nob Hill and down to Powell st/ Union square. Not for the faint!! Hotel close to many chic streets with restaurants as well as North Beach - where it’s the hub of restaurants."
