"The property would have benefited from some makeover especially with air conditioning. There was nothing to stop the mosquitoes from entering the room. The rooms we had were large and spacious. Breakfast was ok and dinner was subpar. The meals were not cheap either."

"Superb 15th century chateau in 'France Profonde'. The hosts most helpful and welcoming. Beautiful grounds and a large swimming pool. Breakfast served in an elegant dining room, there is a salon for your use too. Would advise booking a restaurant in advance in one of the nearby villages."

"Lovely accommodation. Separate sitting area was comfortable. Bedroom was lovely and clean as was the ensuite. In a quiet area with plenty parking. Eating outlets close by , walking and further afield but close by car.Hosts were very nice and accommodating. "

"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention.
