"Great stay "

"There were cockroaches in our room. We stayed one night and when we woke up to check out there were roaches in the sleeping area and bathroom. I told the person at the front desk and she said someone from management would contact me. The front desk person was nice, and obviously there was nothing she could do to fix the problem, but I never heard from management. We’ve stayed at a lot of Holiday Inns over the years and this is the first time we’ve encountered roaches. "

"Very cute cabin with everything we needed and everything was clean. Loved the layout and how cozy it felt. The back porch was even fenced off so my dog could go out there. It was within walking distance to Big Bear Mountain (about a 13 minute walk) which made snowboarding early very easy. We did have a problem with no hot water coming from the shower, but the owner was immediately responsive and had someone come out to fix it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and very dog friendly. "

"Communications with the host were easy, quick, and postivie. Accommodations were clean and felt special. I’ve already sent someone their way! "

"This is a lovely house, very close to Bear Mountain. The great room is perfect for group activities and the hot tub was much appreciated after skiing. There are some things that could use updating (the glasswear, a few lightbulbs, etc) but it's very homey and comfortable."

"We appreciated the good communication about our stay. The cabin was so beautiful! It was very nicely furnished and comfortable. The shuffle board was an excellent amenity. The kitchen was so large and open, but the wood-burning fireplace was a selling feature--our brother requested that in particular to celebrate his 70th birthday and we all really enjoyed it! We also really enjoyed the unobstructed view out the back--gorgeous!"

"This was the perfect place for our family and friends. Loved that we could walk to the mountain for boarding. The spa was great for the aching muscles afterward. The 3 teenage boys took over the downstairs living space and really enjoyed the air hockey and foosball. "
